An employee was being subjected to bullying by a colleague. She tried to deal with it herself but when it got worse she complained to her employer.
The employer commenced an investigation into the alleged bullying which involved interviewing our client and a number of her colleagues.
Dundas Street helped our client to review the terms of reference for the investigation, ensured that the employer put in place measures to keep our client safe during the process, and also monitored the process to ensure that the investigation was conducted properly.
When the report was released it found that bullying had occurred.
We then assisted our client to ensure that the employer put in place sufficient measures to reduce the chances of this kind of behaviour happening in the future.
